We fell in love with Goldendoodles in 2006 while at college and dreamed of owning one of our own. In 2011, that dream came true with the addition of Bella Ruppe to our family! Bella was our first "child" and comes with us everywhere, even our frequent escapades to the beach. 

After starting Doodles of NC in 2013, we quickly grew tired of changing newspaper and trying countless other methods for potty training puppies. We began testing a potty tray system using shelving racks and drip pans with a potty pad in between and quickly realized this was a great solution. In 2022, we began manufacting our own custom potty trays for our own use and quickly realized we needed to share this with everyone.
