Privacy policy

Little Wolves LLC operates two products: the Little Wolves shop at littlewolves.com, where we sell potty trays and related products, and WhelpDesk, our subscription app for dog breeders available on the web, iOS, and Android. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a customer or user. Where a section applies only to one product, we say so.
What We Collect — Shop
When you visit littlewolves.com, we automatically collect device and browsing information through cookies, log files, and tracking pixels: your IP address, browser type, time zone, the pages and products you view, and how you interact with the site. We use this to load the site, run analytics, and understand how shoppers use it.
When you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, email, phone number, and payment information. We accept credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Shop Pay Installments, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Card details are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
If you contact us at info@littlewolves.com or submit a product review through Loox, we collect what you choose to share.
What We Collect — WhelpDesk
When you create a WhelpDesk account, we collect your name and email address. Everything else — your dogs, litters, heat cycles, health records, guardian family information, photos, and notes — is data you choose to enter. We store it so the app works for you. This information belongs to you. We do not share it with other WhelpDesk users, and we do not use it for advertising.
The app also collects basic device and usage information — IP address, device type, app version, crash logs, and feature usage — so we can keep it running, fix bugs, and improve features. This data is not tied to your breeding records.
How We Store Your Data
Shop orders and customer accounts are stored on Shopify, which powers our online store. WhelpDesk is hosted on Vercel, and your WhelpDesk records are stored in our cloud database on Supabase. Both Vercel and Supabase use encryption in transit and at rest.
Shop payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. WhelpDesk subscriptions are processed through Stripe (for sign-ups on whelpdesk.littlewolves.com), Apple In-App Purchase (for iOS sign-ups), and Google Play Billing (for Android, when launched). We never see or store your full payment details — those are held by the payment processor.
Who We Share Data With
We share data only with service providers who help us operate the products. Each acts under our instructions, not for their own marketing.
Both products: Shopify (storefront and account data) and Vercel (hosting). Shopify's privacy practices are at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Shop only: our payment processors listed above; our third-party fulfillment partner in Florida, who receives the name, shipping address, and order contents needed to ship your order; Loox, which powers product reviews; and Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, and Google Ads, which collect information about how you use the site.
WhelpDesk only: Supabase (data storage), Stripe (web subscription billing), Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile subscription billing and app distribution), PostHog (anonymous product analytics), and Sentry (crash and error reporting).
What WhelpDesk Doesn't Do
We do not sell your WhelpDesk data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not serve ads inside the app. We do not use advertising trackers or behavioral-ad pixels inside the WhelpDesk app. Your breeding program data stays between you and WhelpDesk.
We do use two third-party SDKs that collect data for product operation:
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics events (which features you use, which screens you visit) so we can understand what's useful and what's not. PostHog never receives your dog records, photos, or document contents.
- Sentry — crash and error reports so we can find and fix bugs. Sentry receives a stack trace, app version, and device model, but no record contents.
Neither sells or shares the data they receive.
Advertising and Tracking on the Shop
The shop side is different from WhelpDesk. We do not currently run paid ad campaigns, but we plan to. The analytics and tracking pixels listed above (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Google Ads, Google Analytics) may collect information that supports advertising once we begin. When that activity is active, we may share information about your shop activity with these advertising partners so they can show you ads on other websites and platforms.
You can opt out directly with the platforms involved: Meta, Google, Pinterest, and TikTok in your account settings. You can also use the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portals.
We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no consistent industry standard for how to interpret them. Where Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are sent, we treat them as opt-out requests where required by applicable law. We do not use Shopify Audiences.
Mobile App Permissions
The WhelpDesk mobile apps may request permissions on your device — for example, access to the camera so you can take photos of your dogs, or notification permissions for upcoming events. You can grant or revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time.
The app uses Apple's privacy-isolated photo picker (PHPicker) to attach photos to records, which means we only ever receive the specific photos you explicitly select — we never have access to your full photo library and don't request photo-library permission.
Apple and Google also collect their own information under their platform privacy policies (App Tracking Transparency on iOS and Data Safety on Google Play) based on your device-level settings.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA): to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The shop's advertising activity described above may constitute "sharing" under California law. To opt out, adjust the cookie preferences on our site, set your browser to send a Global Privacy Control signal, or use the platform-specific opt-out links. You can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as they take effect) have similar rights. Email us to exercise them.
Canadian residents have the right under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws to access the personal information we hold and request correction. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Account Deletion and Retention
Shop orders are retained for at least seven years after your last order to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time, subject to those legal retention requirements.
WhelpDesk accounts can be deleted from within the app or by emailing us. After you request deletion, we permanently erase your account and the records you have created within 90 days. Some information may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten. Subscription receipts are retained for the periods Stripe, Apple, and Google require.
Children's Privacy
Our products are not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International Users
We ship the shop's products to the United States and Canada. WhelpDesk is available wherever Apple and Google distribute it. The products are operated from the United States; if you access them from Canada or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users within the app or by email. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
